Equipment Needed to Assemble a Pioneer Steel Building
Since most customers assemble their Pioneer Steel building themselves, these buildings have been engineered to be as easy to construct as possible, without the aid of expensive equipment or machinery.
Basic equipment you need includes the following:
Hard hats and work gloves
Tape measures, 50 or 100 ft. and 10 ft.
Electric impact wrench with 1/2" hex or 9/16" square sockets (ask your dealer about possible rentals)
1/2" and 9/16" wrenches
Electric drill, variable speed with 3/8" bits for sheet steel
Extension ladders and/or rope ladders
Scaffolding, stepladders and rope
Additional equipment you may need during assembly of your steel building will depend on the size and model you are constructing. Your steel building manual and your building dealer can provide you with more information.
